CVMA Kansas 21-2 officers are elected by the full members of our chapter. All elected positions are held by full members in good standing, in accordance with the national bylaws of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.

Elected Officers (Chapter Executive Board)

Enlisted in 1984 with the Navy Seabees and spent time with NMCB 40 and a Port Hueneme, CA. Went to the reserves in Des Moines, Iowa with RNMCB 15 until 1990. When active duty as a Hull Technician and enter the Gulf War in 1991. Spent five years in the fleet before discharge. Joined the Army National Guard in 1997 and retired in 2009 as a staff sergeant serving in the artillery. One rotation to Iraq in 2005 as a military policeman.

Enlisted in United States Army in 1984 and served in the Army Reserves until 1989. Entered Active duty in 1989 and served for 26 years until retirement in 2015.  Numerous assignments mostly in Armor & Cavalry units. Combat deployments include: Operation Desert Shield/ Storm (1990-1991), Baghdad, Iraq (2004-2005) and Mosul, Iraq (2008-2009). 

Commissioned in the Army in 1978. Served  in various positions to include platoon leader, company commander (x2), operations officer, Electronic Warfare/CIED officer and Battalion commander. Assignments included service in the 82d Signal Battalion (Airborne), 3rd Armored Division (Germany), 35thInfantry Division (KSNG) (Bosnia), BASOPS HQ (Camp Buehring, Kuwait) (Army Reserve) and 103d ESC (Iraq) (AR) and 821 Transportation BN Cdr (AR-Topeka, KS).  Retired from the Army reserve in 2015.  Additionally, was a Dept of Army civilian from 1984 to October 2017 when retired.

Enlisted in the US Army in 1972 and commissioned in 1978. Served in many positions from mechanic to company commander, battalion operations officer, to a division G3 chief of operations. Assignments included service in the airborne (the Airborne Armor Battalion), command in the Federal Republic of Germany, numerous brigade and division staff positions, and Observer Controller at the National Training Center. Deployed with 1AD for Operation Desert Storm. After retiring from active duty in 1994, was a Department of the Army Civilian, and retired from civil service in 2019. Joined CVMA KS Chapter 21-2 in the spring of 2016 (along with his wife EWO).
