Chapter 21-2 is located in the Fort Leavenworth/Kansas City, KS area with members from all around the surrounding areas. The chapter focus is to assist any Veteran in need from any era. We assist annually in the fall Heart of America Veterans Stand Down to help homeless Veterans throughout the Kansas City metro area. We raise money, provide manpower, and collect items throughout the year in preparation for this event which helps the over 2000 homeless Veterans in the Kansas City area.
Annually we plan, coordinate, and assist with bike shows and fund raisers to support Christmas for the Vets at the Leavenworth VA Hospital. We participate in local community activities in support of Memorial Day Ceremonies, July 4th Celebrations, September 11th Memorials and other events sponsored by our local Veterans organizations. Our focus is on homeless Veterans and Wounded Warriors. We spend much of our time together as family building camaraderie among our members and their families and riding our motorcycles. We are “Vets Helping Vets” in many ways.
Locally we support the Leavenworth VA Hospital, the Kansas Veteran’s Home in Winfield, KS and the Kansas Soldier’s Home at Fort Dodge, KS.
